ABOUT IMAGE PERSPECTIVES
Image Perspectives was born out of the need for truly realistic injury simulation, at an affordable price in 1987.
We continue to improve our methods by researching and developing new techniques and materials to achieve that goal. Marge Dolan, the founder of Image Perspectives, has been involved with Emergency Response and Disaster training for more than thirty five years and has helped to train hundreds of Emergency Management and Emergency Services Professionals. Her experience includes: Exercise Assistance Officer - Nevada Division of Emergency Management; Tech Sergeant - Nevada National Guard; and Emergency Medical Technician. She is a certified Makeup Artist in both Glamour and Camouflage Makeup. Marge has since retired form the moulage department but continues to be an integral part of Image Perspectives.
Marge's daughter Laura Ruecker was the backbone of Image Perspectives for over fifteen years and she created many of the business's computer programs, moulage techniques and even invented simulation products. Laura passed away in November of 2014 and she is missed painfully. Her love and devotion for the funny little business lives on in her daughter Lynzie Ruecker who is now the owner, operator, purchaser and main moulage course instructor. Lynzie has been a part of the business professionally for more than twenty five years. She brings an artistic touch to the injury simulation methods and teaches the classes with her own unique techniques and tricks. We are a family business, through and through, continually persevering all the hard work and devotion that comes along with such a legacy.
Image Perspectives is currently open to offer instructor positions to qualified, experienced and energized individuals. Please contact us for more information.
Our areas of expertise include:
• Realism: Our outstanding research and development team has consistently improved the quality of our
custom made simulations. Our vividly realistic injuries are faster and easier to apply, and more
durable than ever before.
• Medical: Our simulations can be applied to medical mannequins to add more realism
to "hands-on" medical training and testing. They can also be stitched, stapled, and bandaged.
Our casualty cards include realistic vital sign information that has been researched to match
each injury or complication. Acting instructions on the cards include realistic emotional and
physical responses to be portrayed by victims.
• Training: Throughout the U.S. and abroad, we train individuals who create moulage for political
jurisdictions, local EMS, hospitals, military medical units, industries, airports, and more.
We also train moulage teams to apply moulage for Mass Casualty Incident exercises
throughout the country.
• Supplies: Our Company carries a full line of moulage makeup, materials, and supplies, including special
effects items. You need it - we can get it.
• MCIs: We coordinate and execute the entire moulage portion of any exercise, be it disaster training,
wilderness training, or WMD preparedness, by providing:
1. A proven, highly organized event plan.
2. Custom casualty cards that can include makeup instruction,
hospital assignment, triage tag, PET tag, acting instructions,
vital signs on site and at the hospital, placement on scene,
logistics information for transport, and any other information needed.
3. Moulage team training and orientation.
4. Moulage team to create casualties' injuries, and moulage at scene.
5. Casualty volunteer orientation.
6. Realistic placement of casualties at scene.
• Pharmaceutical distribution exercises
Image Perspectives has researched and developed special casualty cards for
bio-chem scenarios. We provide:
1. Scenario casualty controllers for pharmaceutical distribution exercises.
2. Acting direction and coaching of victims.
3. Timing logistics for release of victims into scenario to create desired overrun of
facilities and staff.
4. Casualty cards that include allergies, drug interactions, physical complications,
mental conditions, emotional stresses, etc.
